There was a moment of shock after locals stumbled upon the lifeless body of known mechanic, Nairobi County.
In the Kamukunji area, the body of a known mechanic was found lying at the entrance of Muoroto police post.
The body was found by locals who called the police to the scene.
Nairobi County Police Commander who confirmed the discovery said the deceased might have been killed and his body transferred to the the area.
During the discovery, the body had no physical wounds on it a clear indication that the deceased was killed elsewhere and his body dumped at the scene.
Local Police officers who responded to the scene collected the body and transferred it to the hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
The cause of the death is yet to be known.
Meanwhile, police are now calling upon the members of the public who might have genuine information on the deceased’s relatives and family to notify them.
Investigations into the Wednesday evening incident is ongoing.
