Former Mukurweini Legislator Kabando Wa Kabando has slammed retired President Uhuru Kenyatta for being dragged in petty party politics. Taking to his Twitter handle, the former Legislator has urged the former president is stooping so low by going to intervene in cheap party politics. The Former Legislator was responding to news that President Uhuru Kenyatta had stormed the Jubilee Party headquarters to intervene as two factions fight over the party leadership. However, according Kabando Wa Kabando President Uhuru Kenyatta has earned enough respect for himself and should try to keep it that way. The retired President is the current Jubilee Party Chairman.
This is the first time the retired President has come out to try to resolve the rising division in his party. The wrangles in the Jubilee Party are between EALA legislator Kanini Kega and Jeremiah Kioni. The two leaders are fighting for the position of Party Secretary General. The retired President has told those who feel like leaving they are free to do so
