Reacting to this, the Orange Democratic Movement party Communications director claimed that majority of people from these regions are vulnerable and can easily get lured by these religious leaders who end up brainwashing them.
According to him, these people always believe that the religious leaders can always help them sort out their issues.
“Luhya, Luo and Kisii people are vulnerable. They believe that men of God have solution to all their problems.” Etale posted on his official social media pages
“A lady having issues with her man knows when she shares the problem with her Pastor, it will be solved. It is no wonder many of the Shakahola victims are from Western Kenya.” He added.
