Regarding the current protests led by opposition leader Raila Odinga, former vice president Moody Awori has made a powerful statement. Demonstrations, according to Moody Awori, did not solve the issue; rather, they stoked it and made it worse than it already was.

As a result, Moody Awori has moved forward with presenting a variety of ideas to the county administration in an effort to put an end to protests headed by Raila Odinga of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition. Mandamano shouldn’t be there, according to Moody Awori.

Kenyans and a number of political leaders have backed Moody Awori’s statement because the majority of Kenyans are the ones suffering as a result of protests, either losing loved ones or suffering injuries. Moody Awori has stated that there shouldn’t be any protests.
