Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio La Umoja, and former president Uhuru Kenyatta both have outstanding requests for arrest warrants.

Supporters of President William Ruto have requested that Raila and Uhuru be sent in jail because they claim that the former is funding the latter’s resistance to the president.

Wamalwa has asked Ruto’s friends to concentrate on serving Kenyans since it was one of the reasons they were elected. He has, however, also issued a warning, stating that any attempt to jail Ruto or his deputy will result in a general insurrection.

According to Raila’s close friend and former minister Wamalwa, those asking for his arrest are an incompetent group of politicians willing to cause trouble.

According to the United Democratic Alliance, which is headed by party chief Cecily Mbarire, the two are accused of being financially accountable for the damage brought on by the attacks on Nairobi on Monday.

Some have said that all Kenyans ought to be granted unrestricted freedom to do anything they want if the government keeps allowing people to break the law like Raila.
