Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance has been at the forefront of asking their supporters to hit the streets over the increased cost of living that has threatened to spiral out of control.

The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has asked his supporters to join him in protests on Monday 20th of March 2023 in the capital, Nairobi City.
The people of kisumu have staged several protests already that have however been easily container by the National Police Service that is deployed in the area.
This evening, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the road leading to Kisumu State Lodge, hundreds of police officers are said to have been deployed to guard the road.
The police officers who have been deployed to guard the road have formed layers to ensure that no one will get any access to the Kisumu State Lodge which is the official residence of the President of Kenya when he is in the area.
The officers who are in their hundreds are anticipating an Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance protest from the supporters as per the reports that we have with us.
The Police Officers have formed layers of barriers to ensure that they beef up security along the road that leads to Kisumu State Lodge as they await Azimio La Umoja protesters on Friday, March 17th.
