After much hesitation and deliberation, the leader of the Farmers’ Party has agreed to join the United Democratic Alliance, the ruling party in Kenya.

With the UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala’s encouraging words, this brave decision means the party can now enjoy the many benefits and resources it comes with being in the UDA. The leader of the Farmers’ Party and all of its members have agreed to take part in the UDA’s grassroots election.

Not only that, those who decide to remain independent from the UDA are still welcome to be part of the process, as Malala stated that their input will still be valued. This flexibility of the ruling party will help bring people together and form strong connections within the community.

The agreement of the Farmers’ Party joining the UDA is a remarkable achievement for the nation, one which promises to be of benefit for both parties. In this case, no party was left behind, and together, both parties are hopeful to build a better, united nation.

Despite his initial stand on the issue, Nyakera has surprisingly reversed his position and declared his party’s willingness to dissolve and join the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). Nyakera issued a statement that said the Farmers’ Party was open to explore new options of political participation.

“We have considered our past experiences, analyzed the evolving dynamics of the current political environment, and agreed that the most logical step is to embrace the UDA and play a greater role in its affairs, By joining UDA, we believe we can benefit from the immense power and energy generated by a stronger united voice and use it to uplift the economic, political and social wellbeing of our citizens.” said Nyakera.

The decision to dissolve the party and join UDA is a major political U-turn from the Farmers’ Party, but Nyakera is confident that this move is the best for the party and for the Kenyan people. He said he will use this opportunity to contribute to the growth of the UDA party and help deliver more services to the people of Kenya.
