Raila Odinga, a member of the One Kenya Alliance who supports Azimio La Umoja, has come under fire from Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Business Development Simon Chelugui for his demands for widespread protest.
After giving President William Ruto a 14-day deadline to comply with their demands, Raila declared on Thursday that his team would stage a massive protest against Kenya’s Kwanza government.
According to the former prime minister, the massive protest would start right now and end on March 20 with a massive rally in Nairobi.
In his statements on Saturday, Chelugui denounced Raila’s mass movement and claimed that Kenya’s Kwanza government was working around the clock to undo the wrongs committed under the handshake rule of ODM leader and former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
