Former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa has sent a tough message to President William Ruto following Matiangi’s eight hours interrogation at the DCI headquarters.

Speaking shortly after Matiang’i was released from the DCI headquarters, Wamalwa who had accompanied the former CS called President Ruto to stop his vengeance behavior claiming that that is not the right way to lead a country.

Wamalwa said that Ruto may be having power at the moment to grind Matiang’i but that is not the way he should use it, he has cautioned him that ruling with vengeance may land him in the jaws of angry Kenyans.

“We want to speak to Ruto directly, you cannot lead a country through vendetta vengeance, or vindictiveness. You might have had an axe to grind with Matiang’i but that is not how you lead the country,” Wamalwa said.

The DAP-K party leader was speaking after Matiang’i was released by the DCI after spending at least eight hours in interrogation following the alleged raid in his home.
