Due to the high cost of living the country is currently experiencing, a number of MPs connected to the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance have been attacking President William Ruto and his administration for the past several weeks.
By initially removing subsidies that assisted Kenyans in coping with their high cost of living, Ruto, according to Raila Odinga and his gang, has shown himself to be callous toward the needs of Kenyans. However, these assertions are denied by political expert Ahmedkadar Kadar.
Kadar asserted that the high cost of living before the election on August 9 and did not follow the president in an interview with TV 47.
Listen to Kadar from 1:04:13.
He said that the Azimio team is treating Ruto unfairly by allowing him to continue utilizing the previous administration’s budget until his first budget is read because Ruto is still using it.
Despite the fact that the public needs to be made aware that neither the drought nor the Kenya Kwanza government are to blame, the high expense of living is a problem that needs to be addressed.
“Keep in mind that President Ruto has only been in power for around six months. According to those who are against him, he appears to have been there for two or three years.”
“Given that he hasn’t even read his first budget, which will be read around June 2nd, there might be some reason for suspicion. The government is now operating off of the budget from the previous administration.”
Kadar attacked the rallies staged by the Azimio group further and asserted that President Ruto had been legitimately elected and that the Supreme Court had affirmed that result. Kadar recommended that the Azimio camp acknowledge that Ruto is rightfully in government, get on with their lives, and allow him to carry out his plans.
