Kenyan media personality and journalist Allan Abinadab Owino, and his family are currently mourning following the sudden demise of his grandmother.
The K24 TV news anchor shared the sad news with his fans via his Instagram account just few hours ago, and disclosed that the late grandmother was infact the mother of his father.
In the post that was made on Friday, he also revealed that the late grandmother was going to be buried on that day, at their rural home in Rongo, Migori County.
“If it wasn’t for you, my father wouldn’t have been born and I almost definitely wouldn’t be alive.
Today we lay my grandmother to rest. We say thank you to the Lord Almighty for a life well lived.
Rest with the angels” he wrote.
Allan Abinadab Owino also shared a photo of the late grandmother, and here it is.
In another post today, the K24 TV Prime Time news anchor appreciated fans for all the messages of condolences, and said that the burial went well as planned.
“This is to collectively say thank you to each and everyone who texted me to send their condolences. I couldn’t personally respond to all of them.
We had a beautiful send off for grandma. Asante sana” he wrote.
The disclosure however comes at a time when Allan Abinadab Owino has been known to be a private person.
Despite being on the screens at K24 TV doing news bulletins and being a public figure, he has always managed to keep details of his personal life under the wraps.
This is to the extent that nothing much is known about the rest of his family members.
