Kenyans.co.ke reports that former Prime Minister Hon. Raila Odinga attempted but failed to prevent the expulsion from the ODM Party of a sitting member of parliament. Since the lawmaker went with other members of the ODM party to see President William Ruto the day before, his reputation has taken a hit.
Hon. Jeremiah Kioni, speaking to the Kenyans.co.ke news platform, revealed that the ODM Party boss had tried to prevent the expulsion of the Langata constituency Parliamentarian from the ODM Party but had failed.
According to the media outlet, ODM leader Raila Odinga pleaded with his party’s parliamentary group members to let Langata MP Jalang’o explain why he met with Head of State William Ruto, but they ignored him.
Jeremiah Kioni, on the other hand, assured the public that the troubled legislators would find a home in the merged ODM Party and Azimio.
