The late former education cabinet secretary Prof. George Magoha has finally being laid to rest at his Umiru home in Gem Constituency, Siaya county.
The brief ceremony was attended by close family members led by widow Dr. Barbara Magoha and her son Michael Magoha.
” Former education cabinet secretary Prof. George Magoha laid to rest at his home in Umiru, Siaya county in a ceremony attended by dignitaries including former president Uhuru Kenyatta” reported Citizen TV.
Immediate former president Uhuru Kenyatta, former prime minister Raila Odinga, former cabinet secretaries Eugene Wamalwa ( Defense), Raphael Tuju and Raychelle Omamo attended the ceremony.
Burial mass for the late Prof. George Magoha had earlier been held at Maseno University- Odero Akango grounds in Gem Constituency.
Requiem mass of the late Prof. George Magoha was held on Thursday this week at Consolata shrine, Westlands Constituency.
Magoha died on Tuesday, 25th January at Nairobi hospital.
