The police in Embakasi are looking into the death of a young child who was playing on the eighth level of a building and fell to their death.
The boy’s father, Mark Eristas, called the Muthangari Police Station to report the death of his son, Blessing Mumo.
“He reported that the children were playing along the staircases when she slipped and fell from the eighth floor of the building,” a report seen by Nairobi News read in part.
After Eristas had the child hurried to the hospital, he went home, and she was transferred to Force Memorial Hospital.
According to the attending medical staff, she died from internal and external head traumas.
Similar accidents have been reported in the city, and Kenyans have been called for the implementation of safety measures to prevent such incidents from happening.
