Photo of Jeshi La Baba of 2017 after the disputed elections compared with the 2023 Jeshi La of 2023 has resurfaced online.
The 2017 General Elections saw the the then NASA coalition leader Raila Odinga together with other leaders drawn from WIPER, FORD-Kenya and Amani National Congress (ANC) start an outfit that would be renamed as National Resistance Movement,NRM.
However, the then Cabinet Secretary for Interior FredMatiangi would declare National Resistance Movement an organized criminal group as per Prevention of Organized Crimes Act 2010 and consequently banned it.
The movement had uniforms branded, Resist and caps.
Yesterday, the Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader unveiled his Jeshi La Baba outfit, a group of youthful leaders who have vowed to fight for the Orange Democratic Movement party leader. They had uniforms and and caps that closely resembles the GSU officers berets.
