Controversial political analyst Herman Manyora has today, in a rare act, spoke in support of President William Ruto. In a twitter post on his twitter handle, Manyora agreed with President Ruto’s sentiments that foreign powers are taking up Africa’s resources as they like.
The distinguished University of Nairobi Professor has therefore called for the end to such disrespect.
“I support President William Ruto that foreigners are taking African wealth for a song. We must stop it,” he tweeted.
Speaking during the summit of the Heads of States of East African Community countries, President William Ruto called on international community to conduct an audit to the industrial supply chains so as to make sure global production and consumption honor Congolese resource sovereignty.
