More than 10 people have disappeared since January with others going without a trace and some end up being found in mortuaries, roadside thickets and on river banks.
Data released by police watchdog lobby, the Independent Medico-Legal Unit, shows the disappeared people were always tortured before being killed.

While commenting on disappearance, Kenyans who came across the post are now calling upon the police authorities to chip in and address such issues.
They blamed the police for being silent despite the number of complaints raised by members of the public about people who varnished mysteriously without a trace.
Mohamed was a church priest prior to his disappearance according to information provided by his family members.
The distressed family are now calling upon the members of the public who might have come across him to report to the nearest police station.
