Nominated senator, Karen Nyamu has been in the limelight of late, all for the wrong reasons. After a nasty breakup with her baby-daddy, Samidoh, whose real name is Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu, who is a celebrated Kikuyu musician, Karen, and Edday Nderitu, who is the wife, almost went physical during his Mugiithi show in Dubai on December 16, 2022. Karen who was seemingly intoxicated during the altercation was frog-matched off the stage by masculine bouncers and later when she jetted back to the country, she was summoned by the senate disciplinary committee for the unruly behavior she displayed considering her honorable position.
It seems, Karen never ceases to attract drama on a daily basis. A few hours ago, Nyamu shared a photo of her hugging Nairobi’s governor on her Facebook page followed by a caption, “Happy international Hug day, Johnson Sakaja Hehehehe”. This attracted quite a number of comments from her followers with the likes of former Nairobi governor, Mike Mbuvi Sonko, commenting “super kaswenderee loading”.
It seems this comment by Sonko, didn’t sit well with Nyamu and she retaliated with a rather savage response, “enda sikia vibaya ukoo” which can loosely be translated to mind your own business.
It is never a dull day on these Kenyan social media streets.
