The kikuyu gospel artist Ben Githae is the current name on trending list especially on twitter after he made a bold decision to dump Azimio one Kenya for kenya Kwanza. He made the confession yesterday during a burial that was taking place in mount Kenya region where the president, deputy president and other prominent people were attendants.
While talking to the congregation,Rigathi criticised Ben Githae for singing campaign songs that were in favour of the ODM leader Raila Odinga. He said that Ben Githae misled the Mzee which in this case he was referring to Raila Odinga by telling him that he could climb the mountain but he couldn’t. He also added that Ben was after money and couldn’t follow his heart and he demanded an apology for the same.
He also added that during the campaigns most artists, both gospel and secular were against them and didn’t believe in them but since they took the mantle,they have to treat everyone equally.
