The self proclaimed president of comedy in Africa, Eric Omondi has caused stir online again, this is after he decided to compare Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz to Kenyan superstar Iyanii in terms of talent.
Eric Omondi said live on Camera that Iyanii is very talented as compared to Diamond Platnumz when it comes to talent. He said that Iyanii’s lyrics are dope and he has more content than the current Diamond platnumz who is just doing Amapiano and some other things.
Eric said that the only thing that makes the Kenyan music industry to lag behind is showbiz. Artist are dull and they don’t chase clout, the way Tanzanian artist do. He said that Kenya has more talent than Tanzania but we never utilise that chance very well. Eric said that his mission of transforming Kenyan music is still on, and he is determined that he will bring back glory to the dull music industry.
