Waithaka Wa Jane’s Response To People Who Associated His Music With Devil Worshiping.
If you are a fan of Kikuyu secular songs you might have come across this energetic and young artist called Waithaka Wa Jane who is a famous Kikuyu Mugithi artist who is known for his deep and good voice while singing.
Today Waithaka posted a video on his Facebook page saying that he has been going through a lot of challenges together with his fellow artists who are known to be the king of live performance.
In this video, Waithaka said that he has received a letter from a lawyer that requires him, Tony Young, Kajei Salim, and Kamwana Wa Jane to present themselves in court because they have been doing copyrighted songs without the owner’s consent.
He said that the people who have taken them to the court are JB Maina and Wainaina Wa Kiandege and he said that this was not the first time for him and Tony Young to be in such a situation.
Another thing Waithaka said that touched him is the issue about people who are spreading rumors that he is doing some dark rituals to push his music.
Waithaka said that his talent is God-given and those who are saying so should stop because he knows it is only jealousy that is forcing them to say such things.
He continued by saying that those who are saying that should know that Devil has nothing in his premises and his gifts are not to make people famous but they are to destroy people.
