Revered KTN Swahili news anchor Hadiya Mwasiwa is a mother for the first time.
The beauty infact recently shared the big news with her fans on her Instagram account, and she was undoubtedly over the moon about it.
Hadiya Mwasiwa infact revealed that she was a mum to a baby boy, as she was gushing over how the year 2023 would bring forth blessings upon her life.
This is because her birthday was coming soon, her wedding anniversary to her hubby Mbaruk Mwalimu was coming soon and also their son’s first birthday.
“May this year be full of blessings, happiness and success. My 2023 begins in February, birthday loading, anniversary loading, and my son’s 1st birthday loading…@mwalimu_mbaruk thanks for making marriage easy, nakupenda mno” she wrote.
Hadiya Mwasiwa welcomes her baby secretly
Hadiya Mwasiwa’s disclosure that she was already a mum comes just three months after she announced to her fans for the first time that she was pregnant.
It can be remembered that in September 2022, she took to her Instagram account and flaunted some cute pregnancy photos, from a shoot that she had taken part in with her hubby Mbaruk Mwalimu.
What was clear at the time is that Hadiya Mwasiwa had a big baby bump, and this showed that she had kept her pregnancy a secret for sometime.
In another post that month, the KTN Swahili news anchor disclosed that she kept her pregnancy a secret for over six months, because she wanted to keep everything away from the limelight.
“Being pregnant for me was very exciting, I was so excited to do this photo shoot, and I remember I was so exhausted but my husband @mwalimu_mbaruk psyched me up, and made me laugh constantly, he made it so easy.
And when the photos came out, I told myself I will post them after delivery because I had promised myself to keep my pregnancy away from social media.
Because of that promise I made to myself, I couldn’t even post my baby shower pics, and despite being on air every single day, I still kept my bump from the screen and the public.
It was not easy because I was exhilarated and there are many times I felt like sharing my baby bump pics, but alhamdulillah I managed to hold on to these pics for more than six months, and finally I get to share them. Still excited though” Hadiya Mwasiwa wrote.

Mwasiwa and Mbaruk have however been wife and husband for close to two years now. The two wedded in mid February 2021.
