Raila Odinga’s elder brother, Oburu Odinga is a happy man after his beautiful granddaughter who he was advocating for won a prestigious modeling award. Oburu Odinga’s granddaughter was one of the contestants for Mr and Miss Mbita 5th Edition. It’s very rare to see a renown Politician supporting the dream of her granddaughter who is concentrating on modeling which hasn’t been much appreciated in Kenya like in Western World.
The contestants were required to upload their best photos and introduce themselves at MR and MISS MBITA BEAUTY PAGEANT and call for their supporters to like and comment. Senator Oburu Odinga requested his supporters to vote for his grandchild, Giezel Zilpa who is a 21 year old model who is contestant number 16.

A happy Oburu Odinga has shared the results of from the Miss Mbita Beauty Pageant in his official tweeter account and luckily his granddaughter has emerged the winner. She has emerged the winner with 2,752 followed by Didian Oketch with 2,375 votes.
It is self satisfying for a parent or grandparent seeing one of their own offsprings doing well in their respective careers especially when they support their beloved ones fully.
