Clemo of Calif Records trademark is famous for producing legendary Kenyan artistes like Jua Cali, Flexx, Nonini, Pilipili, Lady S, Jimwat as well as household name Mejja.
The Egerton University Bachelor of Food Science Graduate was brought up in California Estate that is found in Nairobi’s notorious Eastlands area.
Producer Clemo has previously said that his drive in the music industry was not for personal or material gain but rather a passion for the arts.
The Nairobi UDA Governor, Johnson Sakaja has nominated the legendary music producer Clement Rapudo Sijenyi, to serve as the county’s Arts, Culture as well as Tourism Chief Officer.
Clemo will thus know his fate as far as the position is concerned on the 22nd of December when the Nairobi County Assembly will vote on the list of nominees that have been presented to it.
