Today has been a busy day in the political arena, news that went on earlier is the formation of a special tribunal to take probe into the four dissenting IEBC commissioners.
Raila who has promised to stand with the four commissioners has come out to speak on their next step, he has set date 7 this month as the day he will hold the first public consultative meeting at Kamkunji grounds concerning the fate of the 4 commissioners, he promised to lead nationwide demonstrations as it has never happened before to protest the removal of the four commissioners.
President William Ruto has been in Ruiru, he made a stopover to address Kenyans who had gathered. He has said that Raila’s brother is a senator, his sister is a women representative and his daughter an EALA MP, he therefore wants Kenyans not to demonstrate. He says that he has respect to his brothers in opposition and they can critize their plan and agenda but not bringing chaos into the country.
