President William Samoei Ruto today attended the launching of the Hustlers fund project in Nairobi. He was accompanied by the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua among other leaders including the Cabinet Secretaries, Members of parliament etc.
The Hustler’s fund project is a promise that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance had made to Kenyans during their campaign period. The fund is set to boost small scale traders in their businesses by allowing them to acquire loan at small interests rates, flexible repayment among other business friendly terms.
While speaking after launching the hustlers fund, the President said that they agreed with his Deputy to gazette the Nairobi River’s Commission inorder to manage cleanliness in the river by removing gabbage dumped into it, blocking sewage draining into it among others. He said that the river is one of the Economic hub of the city.
