The Prime Cabinet secretary honourable Musalia Mudavadi has taken a swipe at the cabinet secretary of trade as he indirectly tells him to stick to his lanes and work that he was given by President Ruto. Musalia was reacting to the stalemate that we are currently experiencing with the information on maize and GMO seeds.
Musalia says that the importation of maize is the work of the ministry of Agriculture and before they import they have to survey to ascertain whether there is a necessity to import. Musalia gave hope to farmers who had been threatened by Moses Kuria that if they will not sell their maize by next week then the government of Kenya will import maize.
Moses Kuria has been at the loggerheads with means, especially on the importation of GMOs and the importation of maize. Kuria was recorded saying that Kenyans will still die even if the GMO seeds will not be imported and legalised in Kenya.
