Tanzanian songstress Zuchu has become a subject of discussion on social media following a recent altercation between her and a fan. The singer found herself exchanging bitter words with a fan who criticized her sense of fashion. It all started with a social media post that the WCB signee published on the internet. In the post in question, Zuchu is seen posing for photos while wearing a crop top, tennis skirt, denim jacket and finished the outfit with boots.
A fan who goes by the Instagram handle @blessedwithknowledge2 did not appear to be impressed by the singer’s outfit. She took to the comment section where she expressed her opinion on the outfit. She claimed that the singer should get a good fashion designer who will dress her in a manner that reflects her music. According to the critic, Zuchu writes good music that is for mature people but dresses as a child.
“Zuchu you need a good stylist you sing grown up song but dresses as a child,” the critic wrote in the comment section of Zuchu’s post.
In response, Zuchu angrily fired back with some harsh words.
“Koma wewe usinipangie cha kuvaaa kamnunulie babako mxie,” Zuchu responded.
Another social media user came to intervene and advised Zuchu to listen to constructive criticism. The intervener claimed that as an artist it would be good for her to learn to listen to her fans. Zuchu did not, however, want to hear anything from the intervener too.
The altercation attracted the attention f social media users who came out to express their minds on the subject. Whereas there those who sided with the critics, there was a section of the social media users who jumped on Zuchu’s defense.
