The president of the republic of Kenya William Samoei Ruto on Monday met with the new British prime minister Rish Sunak in Egypt.
From the photo shared by a local digital media, the two leaders seem exited to have met, both having been sworn into office barely two months ago.
Whereas President Ruto came into office after the expiry of the two year-term period of his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta, Rish who has Kenyan Roots came into Office after the resignation of his predecessor after barely 45 days In office.
The two leaders are in Egypt to attend the summit on climate change with leaders expected to come up with resolutions aimed at combating the worrying weather trends whose effects are manifested in drought and rise in sea level due to melting ice in polar regions.
On Monday, the former prime minister Raila Odinga joined the head of State in Egypt and is expected to address the summit in the capacity of AU representative for infrastructure.
