Abel Mutua commonly known as “Mkurugenzi”, he is a former actor in Tahindi high at Citizen.
He is the co-founder of phil-it production limited with Bob and Karanja and the brand ambassador for safaricom. The husband to Judy Nyawira with whom they have one child. He is also a script writer, actor and a content creator on YouTube. He narrates stories of things that have happened in his life and those of others including international stories that have happened.
In early this month, he has introduced two new series in his YouTube channel that he will continue creating content onwards. The two series come up as a result of depression among young people and the other from Kenyans living in foreign countries.
One series is know as Mkurugenzi minisode extra which aims at giving young generation hope. According to him, young people are commiting suicide due to depression and thus why he started the series to show the youth they are not the only ones suffering.The other one is know as Mkurugenzi “diastories” which are experiences of Kenyans living in diaspora.
