Popular vernacular TV anchor Winrose Wangui caught her fans by surprise on Sunday night after announcing her exit from Inooro TV. Winrose had worked at the station for 7 years before she tendered her resignation.
She informed her fans that she was airing the last bulletin on Sunday night and bid them goodbye. The seasoned Kikuyu media personality said that change is inevitable and that’s why she decided to leave the station to pursue personal interests.
Former Kameme TV anchor and Kiengei’s ex-wife Keziah Wa Kariuki took to her Facebook page and penned a message to Winrose Wangui after she announced her exit from Royal Media Services. Keziah agreed with Winrose’s sentiments that change is inevitable for someone to attain personal growth and wished her the best in her next endeavors.
“Don’t watch the clock, do what it does. Keep going. And as you said change is inevitable and I also add growth is optional,” part of her Facebook post reads.
Keziah, who also left Kameme TV a few years ago and ventured into business, further welcomed Winrose to the world of self-employment and said she is ready to hold her back. Below is a screenshot of her message to Winrose.
