Sultana is a Citizen Tv drama that replaced the Zora series. The series is aired on Citizen Tv from 7.30 pm to 8.00 pm every weekday. The show was recorded and shot in the Coastal region of Mombasa. It’s produced by the jiffy pictures.
In the series, Sultana is the main actress and plays a blind girl. She was born into a rich family but exchanged during childbirth with JJ. Sultana’s real parents are Bi Ua and Major but are yet to know.
Sultana’s real name is Mwanaasha Johari and is not blind in real life. She is a beautiful young lady. Sultana uses prophetic eyes to look like a blind girl but she can see. She is not allowed to remove them while acting.
The Sultana’s Producers could not use a real blind girl because will not see. They had to use a person who can see because as the series goes on Sultana will be treated and will see. They will just remove the prophetic eyes and she will not be blind anymore.
