On Sunday, September 4th, 2022 the members of parliament began their parliamentary session.
The house was ratified to decide on who between azimio or the Kenya kwanza alliance is the majority in the house.
While passing through his contributions in the motion, the member of Parliament for Garissa Township Aden Duale said that he warned some of the members of the ODM party about the kind of coalition to be formed.
Aden Duale said that he told Suna East MP Junet Mohammed that making Azimio a party rather than a union was not a good move since it would undermine their democracy.
“I told members during the 12th parliament that the political parties amendment act would haunt them… To Junet and Wandayi I say, Murife doesn’t run!”, he said.
Aden Duale said that the warning has come to pass and it is now haunting Azimio. A handful of Azimio MPs renounced their membership of Azimio and joined the Kenya kwanza alliance. However, Azimio still believes that these members are illegally in the Kenya kwanza alliance.
