Kenyan musician Akothee is having a hard time introducing her new white lover to her mother.
Through a disclosure on social media today, the self declared president of single mothers shared that two people in her family are not happy about her relationships.
Akothee recently introduced the new guy and she says that they are planning to do a wedding.
As the norms are, one is usually supposed to introduce their lover to their family for formalities.
But according to the musician, her mother and her sister won’t be happy about it.
She explains that her mother does not like the behaviour of changing men especially that she was once married.
“My mum is not an approachable woman, even if you introduce her to a billionaire,as long as you were once married,” she opened up.
It is because of this reason that she has only introduced two of her boyfriends – out of the over eight she has dated.
The only person who has never had a problem with how she hopes from relationship to relationship is her uncle called Mark.
“My Uncle loves me ,just the way I am, he will be the first one I tell my secrets and send him to go tell her mad sister Hon Kokeyo that I have met someone.
My mum has issues especially with things to do with relationships, she doesn’t encourage anyone to move from one to the other.
I have always found it very difficult to introduce a suiter. I have only introduced 2 men officially to my Mom.
That’s my first marriage,and Wuon Oyoo ,this will be the 3rd one . And it’s a struggle.
My mom doesn’t aknowledge u boyfriend ,mago tugo,she will ignore you and not even shake hands,” she narrated.
