Shirleen Wangari is her real name. She played as OJ’s girlfriend and naughty girl in the popular drama series Tahidi High which airs every Tuesday on Citizen Tv back then.
Her talent and acting skills have made her a fan favorite over the years, the beautiful young lady has improved a lot in various aspects of her life.
After graduating from Tahidi, Shish began acting and auditioning for various roles, determined to continue and develop her acting career. She eventually started her own production company.
Shish recently got a new role in South Africa. She is the star of a post-apocalyptic movie. Wangari is also looking forward to making the film, Guatha is a slang word meaning ‘nothing’.
According to her, the movie that Untitled Films plans to make is located in the 3 corners of Africa, Ghana in the West, Kenya in the East and South Africa.
In September 2021, Shirleen’s co-produced film Wavamizi received international recognition after being shortlisted for funding at the 2021 Durban Film Mart.
Translated into English as Aliens, this film tells the Saga of the Portuguese occupation of Mombasa and how the local population rose up under the leadership of the Sultan’s son.
