Tuesday the 5th of September was indeed a special day for renowned Kenyan journalist Ken Mijungu, and this is because he turned a year older.
News of his birthday was infact confirmed by his former colleague at KTN News Brian George, who posted a previous photo of them together while at the station studios and accompanied it with a birthday message.
He wrote “Happy birthday @kenmijungu”.
Taking to his Instagram account Ken Mijungu also disclosed how he marked the birthday.
It was clear that it was just a simple affair, because he just had a cake, and the milestone was marked at presumably his house.
One person however who also chose to celebrate Ken Mijungu on his special day was his baby mama Dorry Okoyo.
The voluptuous queen who is also a paramedic by profession posted a photo of the media personality on her Instagram account, and accompanied it by heartwarming words.
“Happy birthday Oume. You’re such a blessing. I’d celebrate you every day if I could!” She wrote.
Dorry Okoyo became known to the public as Ken Mijungu’s baby mama in December 2021.
It was infact him who introduced her, and this was via a post on his insta stories where he penned her a birthday message.
“Happiest birthday to my only legit baby mama, min @dorryokoyo”.
“Baby mama so hooooot like a heaaaator @dorryokoyo” he wrote in his captions.
Taking to her insta stories, Dorry Okoyo also uploaded Ken Mijungu’s posts and confirmed that she was indeed his baby mama.
“Approved by baby daddy” she wrote in her caption.
Even though it is not yet clear when exactly the two dated, the voluptuous paramedic has a son called Ramses King Okoyo.
He was born on the 14th of August 2019, meaning he is 3 years old now.
Aside from the baby mama, Ken Mijungu is actually a married man.
His wife goes by the moniker of Laureen Mijingu and the two have been husband and wife for 5 years now.
