Over the past few months, there have been speculations that Mugithi star, DJ Fatxo, could be having a secret affair with the outgoing Murang’a woman representative Sabina Chege.
The rumours started after Fatxo shared photos of them together during the Azimio campaigns. The speculations intensified further after Fatxo bought a new classic Mercedes Benz.
A section of netizens alluded that the car was bought by Sabina and it was handed to the musician as a gift.
However, DJ Fatxo has come out to clear the air on these reports of secretly dating with the politician.
During a live show on Facebook, the musician said that there is nothing going on between him and Sabina Chege and that they are just friends. Fatxo further noted that Chege is like a mother to him.
The artist who seemed angered further stated that he bought the car himself and he was not gifted by Chege as some people have been saying.
“I am a hardworking person and I bought the car myself. I am a DJ and I didn’t want the number KDJ to pass before getting a new machine. I have no relationship with Sabina Chege and I respect her as a mother,” said Fatxo.
DJ Fatxo was speaking alongside another musician David Kamoko and comedian Henry Desagu.
