After losing their first two premier league fixtures, Manchester United are set to face arch rivals, Liverpool on Monday in match day three. The red devils are looking for their first win after losing to both Brighton and Brentford recently.
This is however a difficult task ahead of Eric Ten-Hag as Klopp’s Liverpool are also yet to win a game this season. In their opening premier league game, the reds drew against newly promoted Fulham.
They also shared points with Patrick Viera’s Crystal Palace on Monday in their match day two. The match between United and Liverpool is expected to be tough with Ten-Hag now having more pressure.
Latest reports now indicate that the Dutch tactician is considering dropping United’s current captain Harry Maguire in the fixture. Maguire is yet to prove his ability to retain a starting place under Ten-Hag despite being allowed to be the club’s captain this season.
