With 5,367,975 votes cast, or 52.8% of the vote, William Samoei Ruto, the vice president standing for president on the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, has the majority. The statistics show that 71% of Forms 34B from the IEBC have been covered by Reuters as of right now.

The presidential candidate of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition, Raila Amolo Odinga, receives 4,739,355 votes, or 46.6% of the total votes cast.

From these preliminary statistics, there is a considerable gap of 628,620 votes between the votes cast for Deputy President William Ruto and Raila Odinga.

It also shows that George Wajackoyah, of the Roots Party, has 44,117 votes, or 0.4% of the total. There are 23,505 votes for David Mwaure Waihiga of Agano.
