Chebukati has this afternoon addressed the current trend on media platforms where DP Ruto is leading in NTV and lagging behind on Citizen TV. This is something that raised suspicion until Chebukati had to intervene. Speaking in his evening address, Chebukati said that IEBC is the one that will announce the true winner.
He advised Kenyans not to be biased by what is being aired causing panic. He said that the updates depends on how fast the various media platforms upload the results as they come in. Some houses are slow at verifying and updating their votes and this is exactly what has brought all this confusion.
He advised Kenyans to be very patient as the tallying continues and once everything has been uploaded, the final announcement will be made any time from now. Meanwhile, DP Ruto is on the forefront leading as Raila follows him closely. Many are curious to see who wins.
