Renowned Kameme FM presenter Benson Gathungu alias Mzee Kiengei today visited his father’s grave and laid flowers. Taking to his Facebook page, the talented vernacular presenter and pastor posted an emotional photo at the graveyard and prayed that his father’s soul will continue to rest in peace.
His fans flooded his timeline with heartfelt messages and encouraged him to remain strong, admitting that losing a parent is not easy. Others hailed him for taking his time despite his busy schedule to honor his late dad.
Kiengei was very close to his late father and his death hit him hard. He has frequently confessed on his social media pages that he is still in the healing process, following the death of his adorable father.
He gave his father’s sunset years the best. He would visit him regularly in Nakuru County and occasionally involved him in his comedy skits.
Before his father died, he gifted him a Toyota Prado. Kiengei’s father died last year aged 84 years after battling an undisclosed disease for a long time.
