On Thursday July 28, High Court Judge Esther Maina ruled that the UDA deputy presidential candidate has failed to explain how he acquired the wealth from government agencies. There was, however, no proof that the tender was executed. As a result, the outgoing MP will be forced to forfeit the money for being proceeds of crime.
However, Kenyans have hilariously reacted to a billboard spotted along Thika road that has been branded with Gachagua photo as a mockery of the 200 million saga that he has been told to surrender to the government. On the billboard it is written “Freedom is coming, 200 million recovered” and a photo Gachagua carrying a sack containing the 200 million.
It is however, unclear who put up the billboard that that deals a blow to the UDA presidential candidate William Ruto’s campaign. Kenyans especially the Kenya kwanza supporters have criticized the act stating that tarnishing UDA’s name won’t stop them from heading to state house. Here are Some comments
