Diana Marua is one of the celebrities that people look up to because of her maturity in the way she handles critical issues. When she came to the limelight, she was criticised for being in a relationship with Bahati who is younger than him but she stuck with him because she was sure she loved him.
Another thing that led her to being trolled was the way she interacted with her step daughter Mueni during the first days. Netizens and even Bahati’s baby mama Yvette Obura thought that she was just pretending to groom Bahati as a good woman.
Later on Yvette realised that Diana is genuinely a good person and she loved Mueni like her own child.
Controversy came when Diana and Yvette decided to become friends after deciding to put aside their differences. According to them, they did this for the well being of Mueni because she is innocent and she deserves to be loved without conflicts.
People accused Yvette of intentionally trying to get close to Bahati through Diana so that she gets another chance with him. They even predicted that she could get the second child with Bahati.
Diana talked about this in an interview saying that she is sure that netizens’ allegations will never come to pass because Yvette respects what she (Diana) has with Bahati.
That Yvette is in a relationship with another man and he accompanies her sometimes when she drops Mueni at Bahati’s place. She said that they respect each other’s position in Bahati’s life and nothing will change that.
