The media fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of an award-winning radio journalist GG Guyo Godana.
Popularly known as Mheshimiwa GG, Godana was a presenter at Radio Jangwani, a community radio owned by the Catholic Diocese of Marsabit.
The talented presenter is the Winner of Governance reporting -Radio category -AJEA 2021and first runners up in the Gender reporting Category 2022 Media Council of Kenya .
“As Radio Jangwani fraternity we are still in shock and still not believing that our very own mheshimiwa GG Guyo Godana has rested. It’s premature but who are we to judge!”
“With utmost respect our GG we pray that you find rest as you fly with the angels. Radio Jangwani is mourning. We are crying and still in disbelief. Death is so cruel,” read a post on Radio Jangwani Facebook page.
His fans took to social media to mourn the youthful presenter and send their condolences.
