Controversial man of God Pastor Victor Kanyari has addressed rumours that a video that trended a few weeks ago of him praying for former Tahidi High actor Omosh was stage-managed.
Speaking in a recent interview, Kanyari dismissed the rumours saying he was also surprised that Omosh fall down at his Salvation Healing Ministries Church.
“I pray for people here, including foreigners, some fall down, others don’t. I was also shocked to see Omosh fall down when I prayed for him. But I did not see it as a huge deal because it’s normal to me,” he said.
Kanyari also denied signalling to Omosh where to fall during the prayer session.
Kanyari said running a church is the hardest business one can ever do since it is hard to make money.
He said if he was only after money, he would have quit the ministry a long time ago.
“It is the most difficult business you can do in the world since there is nothing you are selling to anyone, you only tell people about prayers and expect them to give offerings,” he said adding that he has a special anointing.
“God uses me a lot, and I know I have an anointing, but not everyone will accept me, and I have no problem with people who criticise me, that’s normal.”
In the said video, Omosh was seen overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit while being prayed for by the controversial man of God in his church.
He was then seen rolling down as he is surrounded by ushers.
Actor Omosh then introduced himself and admitted that he was a sinner who wanted God to forgive him.
