bizare

It is slowly becoming the norm for families to inter their loved ones remains via cremation.
Unlike burials, where the body of a loved one is laid to rest in a grave, cremation also allows the family members to decide what to do with the ashes.
Most times, the last will and testament of the loved one details how they want their ashes to be disposed of.
Here is a list of bizarre requests of how family members honoured the remains of their loved ones.
Dividing the ashes and bequeathing them to different family members. They are allowed to do as they wish with the ashes. It will be their way of remembering their loved one in their own way.
Columbarium
This is a place above-ground which is specifically built as an interment location for cremated remains. It is filled with niches (wall spaces) in which urns are placed and interred. Family members can visit the place to pay tribute to a loved one.
Scattering of ashes
There are those people who leave last wills and testament that detail where their loved ones can scatter their ashes after cremation.
This could be by the ocean, in the mountains, specific countries or places
Keeping the ashes at home
More and more people are beginning to keep the cremated body of a loved one at home. Most often, the family selects an urn to house the ashes.
Cremation and or memorial jewelry
After the dead of a loved one who has been cremated, people are now opting to carry arround a piece of the dead loved one with them everywhere they go. They do this by carrying a small amount of their ashes in what is now know as cremation jewelry.
Often cremation jewelry design includes a small interior space – like a locket or a ring – where the ashes are placed. This can be worn as jewelry in various styles like necklaces, rings, pendants among others.
Planting your loved ones ashes
It is now common to plant a loved one’s ashes so that a memorial tree will grow.
Make your loved one into glass keepsakes
Another possibility is to have the ashes of a loved one infused with glass to create beautiful keepsakes like jewellery, paperweights, orbs, and other glassware.
Pressed into a Diamond
Kris Jenner once told her children on their TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians that when she dies her ashes should be crystallized to create a diamond. This is now a growing trend to forge a cremated body into diamonds, which are made of crystallized carbon. This is possible because the second most abundant element in the human body is carbon.
