Kenyan content creator Murugi Munyi alias Yummy Mummy has revealed how shocked she was after she found out her house help was heavy with child .
The issue is not about the help being pregnant but the fact that she gave birth a day after she was given a day off.
Sharing her experience via TikTok she narrated,
“I had hired a house help when my daughter was a few years old. Along the way she got pregnant and I did not even realize it as she is a plus-sized lady, so I assumed that she just had a potbelly.”
Murugi says she started having doubts after her house help started eating too much.
“I started being suspicious after she started eating a lot, she also started growing bigger. The day I gave her permission to go home, she delivered the next day. Imagine she might have given birth inside my house.”

Murugi who is a mother of 3 has in the past spoken about how her hubby, Zach supports her work. In an interview with Massawe Japanni, Murugi said that they still have to compromise when she shoots content that he might not be happy with.
“Sometimes he sees my content and says, ‘mmmmhhhhh’ but the thing is that sometimes we discuss. There are things I want to post and I realize that I will have an issue with it, but I just post then we talk about it later, but there are some things, which if he is not comfortable with it, I will not post. now we kind of understand each other.”
She continued,
“He also understands my work. He has seen how much it has benefited our family financially, the connections, the networks, he understands it is entertainment.”
Murugi who has been married for 5 years added,
“The same way, even in his work there are things that he does that I don’t like. For example, he works for a brewery company and you will find that most times he has parties or he is traveling a lot. I cannot now tell him, now I’m uncomfortable, don’t go. I mean it is his work. He also understands that this is my work.”
