Man behind viral Password meme excites Kenyans
A Homabya born man who went viral in a video on TV using the word password was interviewed about how he came to use the word.
Speaking to NTV, the man Jack Omondi Oluoch told that he had no bad intentions when using the word to refer to ODM.
Oluoch said that he made the comment due to delays that were experienced during the ODM nominations conducted in Homa Bay County last week.
“I had woken up very early in the morning to vote during the nominations but that did not help me since the voting materials came late. The people who were to conduct the exercise came three hours late and later left. When we asked the officials who remained at the station what was going on, they told us that they had forgotten the password of the voting gadget and so we had to wait.
It is these delays that prompted us to go to the media to express our frustrations and that is when I was captured on camera calling the name ‘Password,” Oluoch said.
“I used to be called Password even before the incident. The name originated from my workplace after I had a quarrel with my boss,” he narrated.
