Anerlisa Muigai recently spoke to Mpasho in an exclusive interview. The Nero Water CEO opened up about some very intimate areas in her life.
One of the things she spoke about was the best memory she has ever had in her life. She simply said, “Every memory with her sister, Tecra.”
The two were really close before the untimely death of her sister in May 2020, something that Anerlisa makes sure she reminds Kenyans of regularly.
In a previous post in the past, Anerlisa reminisced about her sister’s reading habits, writing,
”Can you imagine my sister read all these books? She was so Smart. Nobody was as smart as her in the Family. To Genius.”

That wasn’t all, in November 2020, Anerlisa even vowed to lose weight in Tecra’s memory something she would accomplish a few months later after losing 14kgs.
“My family and I miss Tecra so much that I promised I will lose weight to her size every time they look at me, they see her but when I speak, they hear my voice. God bless Us all” said Anerlisa Muigai.
Her then-boyfriend, Omar Lali emerged as the prime suspect in the death with the police later dropping charges against him.
Anerlisa still maintains that Tecra’s manner of death was consistent with murder and not a fall like was claimed by Lali.
Before her death, the late Tecra worked as the Strategy and Innovations director at the Keroche Breweries.
