Zari was caught in the centre of a storm about enjoying how hurt Nigerian Anne Idibia is over her husband 2face’ repeated cheating.
In Season 1of Young, Famous and African, Zari is seen in a confrontation with Anne idibia about how the Uganda knows 2face Idibia.
Zari does not answer the question instead accusing Anne of being insecure about her marriage.
Annie lamented repeatedly about her husbands affairs, crying and revealing she is insecure. We learn that 2face was 24 when he started dating 15 year old Annie.
2face Idibia and wife Annie
And that Annie’s first child was her husbands 5th child
Annie has gotten unsolicited advice and criticism as well, but Zari was condemned for her attitude towards Annie.
Here is Zari being blasted:

Annie is the woman that stayed.. Zari is the woman that left . There is always gonna be conflict with the two because they represent two different outcomes #YoungFamousAndAfrican
@waterbond007
Zari is a left cos she can’t handle family
Annie stayed cos she want family to be better
Annie is the real boss, in all the characteristics that so tagged zari declared about herself, I’m sorry to say this but Annie is percentages better than her. #YoungFamousAndAfrican
@layor__
And Zari is damn at peace not Annie with her insecurities all over the place
@TheOlaAbagun
But we also saw Zari dropping subtle hints of her own insecurities with unprovoked statements like “I don’t need to secure a man”, “a man is only the cherry in the champagne”. I think they are actually more similar than different. Zari has just perfected a stoic performance.
@stella_durotimi
Diamond didn’t want to wife her. 2face wanted to wife Annie and did. Their marriage is imperfect but 2face definitely values her more than Diamond does Zari
@BLK_Lezothi
And Zari is jealous of Annie because when she sees Annie, she sees what she could’ve had.
